In 2021, Schotman started producing molasses-based rum with natural fermentation. The fermentation tanks are located outside in the nature of the beautiful Achterhoek, so nature has free reign. The extremely long fermentation of up to 6 months gives the rum an exceptional aroma that will overwhelm you. Schotman is also original here.
The rum is distilled with pot and column still.
Of course no fragrance, color or flavorings have been added.
